Andrea K. Veryser, MD, graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine, located in her home state of Michigan, in 2007. She moved to Albuquerque to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of New Mexico Hospital. She has enjoyed the ample sunshine and culture in New Mexico and decided to stay to become NMOHC’s first board-certified internal medicine hospitalist.
